This is Weight: 2.5 and AC of 9 it had +5 Stamina and is no longer in the game. It was originally given in a GM event.
Adding a +5 stamina this is a nice lil addition to the ranger armor. This quest come from Leaf and you must return to him 1 bar of ronium, 1 mistmoore granite and 2000 gp.
You will need to be high 20's to low 30's to get many of these quest items.
Hunt Leering and Jeering Gargoyles in Castle Mistmoore for a few days until you get TWO pieces of Mistmoore Granite (no drop, but NOT lore). You will need to group for this.
You need 4 Faerie (not pixie) Dusts to give to the Princess in Kaladim's Cleric guild to get Soil of Underfoot. This is a major problem for Rangers. Killing Faeries is bad for Rangers since they need faction with them to do the Raincaller quest later on. Try to buy the dust and save your faction. Now if you're a Ranger your faction probably sucks with the Clerics in Kaladim. She had the nerve to tell me that I "slept with dogs". Of course I do, I'm a protector of the forest. Anyways just get a bunch of bone chips from skeletons and turn them in to the guy at the Paladin guild and this will raise your faction with the clerics too.
Give the princess 4 Faerie dusts and she will give you your soil (lore, no drop). Whew...what a pain this step was.
Get some Ronium.
Make sure you have the other piece of Mistmoore Granite on you along with 2000gp (heavy) and head to Kithicor Forest, careful, not to enter at night. Turn in the bar of ronium, the granite, and the 2000gp and you'll get your boots and some good exp. Congratulations!!!! You have just spent at least 20 hours and 500 -1000pp to get your not-so-great Ranger only boots.
Purchase a fire emerald from any gem dealer, cost ~100pp.
Go to everfrost and search out the orc named Redwind. He is about level 32 or so, and is also a caster of some sort. He can be found in a large temple right next to the Giant statue. But before you go running off, be warned, he is surrounded by usually 4 icy (?) orcs, about level 25.
Go to Dagnor's Cauldron and find an Aqua Goblin Tidal Lord and kill it. They are roughly level 22-23. Most of the time they will drop the watery ring.
Take the fire emerald, the watery ring, and the rune of ivy (it says nothing about "Bottom of rune of ivy") and give 'em all to Gandari, and voila, you've got a set of bracers and a little exp!
you need to things [broken bow part A] and [broken bow part B]
Part B Is dropped by Slaythe the Sayer in Lguk (live side) he is located near the Patriarch and the jail.
Part A - There is a ring of four spawns.
You'll need the Top of the Rune of Ivy, a Charm, and a Sapphire to complete this quest.
On the Rune of Ivy - Best place I've found to get the
Ushers consistently is either up at the courtyard before the bridge and pull
from the mezzanine or the piano room area. Another good place is the garden
where the hematologist spawns (pull room and also the gargoyles, although the
gargs out there didn't drop any granite, which is needed for the Ivy Etched
Boots quest). Be very CAREFUL when you enter the mezzanine and stairs area from
the courtyard side. There are some nasty trains that folks pull. There are
other places you can find the ushers but it seemed to me these places had ushers
consistently drop the rune (we had 2 rangers in our party that night, we both
got one).
On the Charm - Tarskuk is an easy mob if you snare, dot, and nuke him,
then just hack him to bits. Any competent 30's party can nail him, he spawns
when ph's are killed on the hill next to the Gypsy's camp consistently (ph's
are either the lizard men mystics or the bears, I can't remember which). I
make it a point to nail him for all my Ranger brethren when I'm in the area. And
once killed, he doesn't even wait for his corpse to fade, he will spawn again
right away, same place. If you get bored while waiting, you can smite the other
cyclops in the area for fun, they are still good xp solo at level 39.
On the Sapphire - Buy it, Fool. 105pp for me (131 charisma).
Star of Odus (bought in Erudin)
Quiver of Kithicor -- requires 6 arrows (acknowledgment, bravery, defiance, gallantry, fortitude and recognition) found on Outcast Brownies in Lesser Faydark -- kill Pixie Tricksters and Pranksters to get them to spawn.
Also requires the quiver (container for the arrows) which comes off of Wiltin the thief on the Seafury Isle in OOT -- kill Buccaners to get Wiltin to spawn. Put the arrows in the quiver and hit 'combine'.
Bring both back to Leaf Falldim for the leggings.
Tips on the quest:
Rune from
Grimfeather:
Grimfeather is lvl. 40, but he's been taken down with a 35 wiz, 40 ranger,
and 35 druid, and a 30 ranger. He flies extremely fast (Kept pace with a 35
Bard using Mistmoore Drums) and he almost downed the druid who was in wolf
form.
Heart of Fire:
You must attain this from the Inferno Goblin Wizard in Sol A. It's
supposedly a not-so-common and not-rare drop off the gobbie. I've heard
stories from ppl getting it on their first kill, up to ppl camping it for
days! Personally, I got one off the first Inferno Goblin Wizard that my
group killed. They conned blue to me at 31, but it took my group (28-35
full) to hold the bartender room,
which is where I found it to spawn.
Star Rubies:
Buy 2 Star Rubies cost under 100pp
Here is a list of what you need to do to get this Tunic
Kill Meldrath at the mino caves in Steamfont---loot his skull
Kill Thistle Underwood in Lower Faydark----loot the Rune of Ivy
Buy 2 Rubies
Go to Kithicor Forest (do yourself a favor go there in EQ
daytime) turn all these items into Gandari. (do not stack the rubies)
